Barcelona's coach Xavi Hernandez felt excited about his team's LaLiga title victory for the first time after 2018-19.
In an interview with Movistar Plus, Xavi said he feels so happy after his team notched a convincing victory over Espanyol on Sunday.
"We are left with a magnificent feeling, more than 10 months of work, of sacrifice. It has been an extraordinary job," Xavi said.
"For the fans, for the club, winning it was vital for the stability of the project, we must continue on this path,
"This League means that we are doing things very well, this gives us stability, although we still have the unfinished business of European competition," he added.
Barcelona beat Espanyol 4-2 on Sunday to win their 27th LaLiga title at the RCDE Stadium, also known as Estadi Cornellà-El Prat.
Experienced striker Robert Lewandowski scored two goals in the first half to give Barcelona an early edge in the contest. Alejandro Balde was the other scorer in the first half for the home side.
Defender Jules Kounde headed in Barca's fourth in the 53rd minute, before Javi Puado and Joselu scored consolation goals for Espanyol.
With this victory, Barcelona moved to 85 points after playing 34 matches. They leave behind second-placed Real Madrid by 14 points.
Sergio Busquets-led Barcelona will meet fourth-placed Real Sociedad at the Camp Nou stadium on May 20 [Saturday]. They will lift the trophy after the match on Saturday.
